Final Build?


It took me a bit to sit down and fix a few things after the game jam but here we are!

Notable Changes

  • The title screen is a little less static. And I think it's sets up the premise of what you'll doing pretty well.
  • SFX we're added. I initially wasn't sure of their implementation but the feedback has been positive so I'm glad I did!
  • Granny's physics and path finding fixes. You may find her a bit tougher to avoid later game due to her physics not being as janked up. But I think I did a good job at keeping the progressively harder difficulty curve relatively the same for the start.
  • Sprite sorting. There are still a few issues here and their but it would require asset changes and I didn't feel like it. For the most part though, sprite sorting has been fixed.
  • Right-Click to dodge (at the suggestion of someone at Tokyo Indies, thanks for the suggestion! It really does feel better and is more intuitive.)

Now I don't plan on adding anything else to it and am pretty satisfied with the end result. I thought of a few avenues that could be built upon. Some of which we cut for scope reasons during the jam. But I've decide I'd rather move on to other projects may they be game dev related or not.
